Welcome to Kumaya World. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kumaya World website, assessments, games, paths, the Kumayan Portal, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Kumaya World LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Kumaya World LLC is the company behind Kumaya World, a structured personal-development system that guides you through self-assessment, a personalized path, paid programs, and an ongoing Kumayan Portal experience. Our principal place of business is 2722 Erie Ave Ste 219, Cincinnati, Ohio 45208.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make a purchase, or otherwise use the paid portions of the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. What We Offer

The Service includes, among other things:

• The Inner Compass game and other free clarity tools.
• An assessment that determines a personalized transformation path.
• Paid paths (Awareness, Regulation, Embodiment) and related student-only content, games, and tools.
• The Vision Chamber, body-map, breathing tools, and other in-portal experiences.
• Audio guidebooks, a community area, and progress tracking.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will use reasonable effort to give you notice of material changes that affect features you have already paid for.

4. Accounts and Access Codes

Some parts of the Service require an account or an access code. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and access codes confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at connect@kumayaworld.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Payment

Paid paths are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. By submitting payment, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. Pricing is shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

6. Refund Policy — 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee on all paid paths.

The 60-day window exists for a reason. The work that Kumaya World offers is not a quick fix. Transcending a fragmented and unfulfilled life takes time. Personal-development work of this depth requires at least 60 days of consistency before its true effects become visible — in your nervous system, your relationships, your decisions, and your everyday experience.

To request a refund within 60 days of your purchase, email connect@kumayaworld.com from the email address tied to your account. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. After the 60-day window has passed, purchases are final.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within Kumaya World — including the transformation system, written material, audio guidebooks, assessments, games, characters, design system, code, and brand marks — is owned by Kumaya World LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to access the content you have paid for. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, screenshot in bulk, scrape, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Share your account or access code with others.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
• Submit content to community or Vision Chamber features that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that infringes on others' rights.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms.

9. User-Generated Content

When you submit text, images, Vision Chamber inputs, reflections, or other content to the Service, you grant Kumaya World LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have the right to submit it.

10. Personal Development Disclaimer

Kumaya World is a personal-development service. It is not therapy, medical care, mental-health treatment, or a substitute for professional help. We do not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, severe distress, or a medical emergency, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. By using the Service you acknowledge that any decisions you make based on the content are your own responsibility.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers including Stripe (payments), OpenAI (the Vision Chamber), Resend (email), Google Translate (language), and a third-party accessibility widget. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' own terms.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kumaya World LLC and its founders, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any lawsuit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If you live outside Ohio or outside the United States, you understand and agree that you are voluntarily submitting to the jurisdiction of the Ohio courts for any dispute with Kumaya World LLC.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
